hey peeps!

ok, you guys must be wondering why my letters are in blue, but well, the sky is so blue today, and it hasnt been like that for ages... so, decided to live up with it

i was reading up on my GIT, and suddenly world aids day just crossed my mind... so i decided to blog about it.. that day, as me and nana were having a meeting with our president of crusaiders club (its an aids-awareness club thingie), the president, named X told us that they are giving out condoms to the uni students during world aids day, which is gonna be on 1st dec.. i was like, what the.... I DISAGREE.. some might say, "well, we are promoting safe sex... they are gonna do it anyway, so we shd give them.. at least it is protected to a certain degree"... but dont you think that we should promote "abstinence instead of safe sex"... then some might reply "well, ppl nowadays have sex left-right-centre... its difficult to tell ppl to refrain from having sex, but its better if we promote safe sex".... hrmm.. its kinda thru, as that day, i came across an article in the newspaper, saying that ppl having sex anywhere... car...disco.. toilet.. parents bedroom.. wherever...

hrmmm.. but then again, regardless, i think giving a condom to someone actually tempting the person whether directly or indirectly.. by holding on to it... dont you think that ppl will actually use it... some might say, they can go and buy anyway, why not we just give it to them... but still, buying it is another issue.. from my perspective.. its kinda embarassing to go get one at the store.. and rather difficult as some ppl might ask if you are legal and stuff... i was thinking, if we dont give them a condom, you are actually reducing the chances of them having sex, but giving them one, you are telling them "hey man.. you know its ok to have sex.. but make sure you use condom.. safe sex you see"...

so to what extent ppl agree.. i dont know.. but i so totally DISAGREE... coz, the message that we ultimately want to shout out, is not to have sex... if we, as a role model(doctors, medical students, pharmacist, some-aware-citizen) dont practice this, who else will.. put yourself in someone else's parent.. do you want your son/daughter not to have sex before marriage, or you want your kids to go ahead and have fun, try it, experience the pleasure whatever, but as long as it is safe... i totally wont my sis to have sex with someone, i'll totally blow that guy's head off.. try me..

lemme share a story.. cut it short, both of them got together... and my friend told me that, he wont go far.. as in, to sex and so on.. but when you get together, and you started a lil intimacy, it leads on... you are tempted into it.. and then, you;ll be hungry for it.. and one day, the gf's period did not arrive.. and both of them went haywire.. went for a few consultations.. checking whether she is pregnant... well, they used condom.. safe... luckily, the doc said she is not.. imagine the things they have to go thru if she really is pregnant...

so folks, i guess, i've typed enough... just wanna express my concern regarding this issue of giving out condom free... DO WHATS RIGHT.. NOT WHATS SAFE... BE SENSIBLE, NOT PRACTICAL...
